Commercial Property Insurance > Business Interruption
A loss of profits or business interruption policy, as it is sometimes called, will insure the business against the loss of future profits caused by a loss arising from an insured peril under the fire policy.
Sometimes full loss of profits is unnecessary if the business can quickly be re-established at another address. In such cases Increased Cost of Working Cover will be sufficient to cover the cost of additional rent, new office equipment and reconstruction of records.
