In association with our colleagues in our associated company we are able to offer extensive expertise in the area of fleet insurance. Our colleagues advise many clients with fleets ranging from just a few vehicles to fleets consisting of several thousand vehicles. Smaller fleets are insured on a conventional basis but the larger fleets are insured on a much more sophisticated basis. Typically this will involve establishing a Protected Cell which is managed in much the same way as a captive; this entails a blend of self insurance and catastrophe insurance provided by a well known insurance company. This approach is then combined with a claims management service which achieves substantial savings for the insured
